CONGÉSTIE, congestii, s. f. Aflux excesiv de sânge într-o anumită parte a corpului; boală provocată de acest aflux. ◊ Congestie cerebrală = acumulare foarte mare de sânge în vasele cerebrale. – Din fr. congestion, lat. congestio.
